The Browning^® Torq/Pro^® Z overload clutch is a release-type ball-detent style torque overload device. It features a manual single position reset configuration intended for higher speed applications. After tripping, the unit must be manually reset. This feature was designed to improve the life of the unit so it does not automatically reset and trip many times at high speed before the jam is cleared. Inherent in the design is accuracy, reversibility, a torque setting scale and a switch detector plate. An asymmetrical ball detent pocket pattern allows engagement in only one position. Torque capacity up to 3980 in-lbs, and speed ranges up to 1800 rpm for all sizes.
