The construction of the Jaure® JAUFLEX® coupling allows it to accommodate the inherent offset and angular misalignment between the connected shafts. It also handles most axial displacement caused by thermal growth. It can also accommodate small machine movements caused by foundation settling or pipe stresses. The JAUFLEX coupling can tolerate many errors in machine alignment. However, it is best to perform a good alignment so that the coupling can accommodate later movements between shafts.
