Shear Pin Type

• Designed to prevent damage to machinery due to sudden overload or jamming by shearing the necked pin at a predetermined load.
• Shear pins are inserted on the liners and have different torque capacity and breaks when the pre-determined overload occurs.

Torq/Gard

• Detector plates, coupling options and other accessories enhance design flexibility
• Detector plate is available for the Torq/Gard unit to permit overload sensing to integrate into control systems.
• Bushing kits are available to easily fit to different shafts without having to specially bore the unit.
• A universal adapter plate may also be modified for special transmission options.
• Browning chain coupling kits mount directly on the Torq/Gard clutch. Hubs with split taper bushings simplify drive applications.

Torque Limiters

• Adjustable spring pressure determines overload setting and reengages drive when overload condition subsides.
• Friction facings allow slipping when an overload occur.
